About Infinia

Infinia is a fintech platform founded in 2022 that provides real-time global payments infrastructure, with a strong focus on emerging markets and Latin America.  

Through a unified API, the platform enables companies to manage payins, payouts, and currency conversion, integrating both traditional fiat payment methods and cryptocurrencies. Backed by a team with over 20 years of experience in software and more than 10 years in fintech, Infinia delivers real-time payment capabilities and tailored solutions for companies operating in complex financial ecosystems.  

The Challenge

Infinia sought to consolidate its cloud operations with a partner capable of providing complete flexibility, ensuring security, and supporting its business evolution at speed. The company needed more than just technical support — it required an ally who could take strategic ownership of its AWS platform.

Our Approach

At Pyxis, we took on the role of strategic technology partner, integrating seamlessly with Infinia’s team at both the operational and strategic levels.

Our work focused on building a robust, scalable AWS environment capable of supporting the company’s evolving fintech infrastructure.

• We designed and managed their AWS infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability.

• We implemented modern security and monitoring practices, working closely with their Cloud Security team.

The solution leveraged a set of AWS native services to support scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency, including:

Security and identity management were implemented through AWS IAM, AWS KMS, and AWS Secrets Manager, while monitoring and observability relied on Amazon CloudWatch metrics, logs, alarms, and event-driven alerts. 

Infrastructure as Code was implemented using Terraform, and CI/CD automation was integrated with Git-based repositories and AWS developer tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy). 

Hybrid connectivity and secure integrations were enabled through AWS Transit Gateway and pfSense-based VPN connectivity, while security monitoring was strengthened through Wazuh as SIEM and centralized logging practices. 

Results

The collaboration enabled Infinia to strengthen its cloud platform and support its growth as a fintech infrastructure provider. Key outcomes included:
