Infinia is a fintech platform founded in 2022 that provides real-time global payments infrastructure, with a strong focus on emerging markets and Latin America.
Through a unified API, the platform enables companies to manage payins, payouts, and currency conversion, integrating both traditional fiat payment methods and cryptocurrencies. Backed by a team with over 20 years of experience in software and more than 10 years in fintech, Infinia delivers real-time payment capabilities and tailored solutions for companies operating in complex financial ecosystems.
Infinia sought to consolidate its cloud operations with a partner capable of providing complete flexibility, ensuring security, and supporting its business evolution at speed. The company needed more than just technical support — it required an ally who could take strategic ownership of its AWS platform.
At Pyxis, we took on the role of strategic technology partner, integrating seamlessly with Infinia’s team at both the operational and strategic levels.
Our work focused on building a robust, scalable AWS environment capable of supporting the company’s evolving fintech infrastructure.
Key initiatives included:
We designed and managed their AWS infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability.
We implemented modern security and monitoring practices, working closely with their Cloud Security team.
We supported day-to-day operations, participating in dailies and planning sessions, while remaining adaptable to changing requirements.
We became a trusted technical reference, making sure every recommendation was aligned with the client’s roadmap and budget.
The solution leveraged a set of AWS native services to support scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency, including:
Amazon ECS (Fargate)
AWS Lambda
Amazon SQS / SNS
Amazon DynamoDB
Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL
Amazon S3 and Amazon EFS
Elastic Load Balancing (ALB/NLB)
Amazon SES
AWS WAF
Security and identity management were implemented through AWS IAM, AWS KMS, and AWS Secrets Manager, while monitoring and observability relied on Amazon CloudWatch metrics, logs, alarms, and event-driven alerts.
Infrastructure as Code was implemented using Terraform, and CI/CD automation was integrated with Git-based repositories and AWS developer tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy).
Hybrid connectivity and secure integrations were enabled through AWS Transit Gateway and pfSense-based VPN connectivity, while security monitoring was strengthened through Wazuh as SIEM and centralized logging practices.
The collaboration enabled Infinia to strengthen its cloud platform and support its growth as a fintech infrastructure provider. Key outcomes included:
Complete trust: Pyxis became Infinia’s strategic AWS partner.
Increased agility: Infrastructure ready to continuously adapt to evolving business needs.
Enhanced security and control: Integration of best security practices and advanced monitoring.
Long-term relationship: A close collaboration that goes beyond the technical and supports ongoing business growth.
More than a provider, Pyxis acts as a strategic technology partner, combining deep AWS expertise with a hands-on, collaborative approach. This partnership enables Infinia to innovate and grow confidently, backed by a team that truly understands and drives its business forward.
