On Saturday 6th we met virtually among more than 150 Pyxians in a new Open Space, a space for construction among Pyxis members to know how we are and what we propose.
In Pyxis we focus on people, and enjoyable professional work is a global goal of the organization, so we believe that this space is a very valuable tool to formulate new ideas and promote co-construction.
What is the Open Space?
A meeting space with several objectives, the most important of which is to make what is happening in the company available to all its actors, and thus be able to share perspectives for the future, interact and get to know each other better. It is an event where new ideas are the protagonists, and lay the foundations to build Pyxis.
This second Open Space of the year, like the previous one, had to adapt to the new normality and we had to meet via zoom, although it did not prevent a great participation of the team!
Working Committees
As always, the agenda of the Open is put together by the Pyxians, and in this edition the topics were grouped according to the different commissions that work in Pyxis. The dynamics was guided by three sessions, where each of the 5 commissions put a topic on the table to share, inform and exchange on different issues of interest.
The Work of the Future Commission, in one of its tracks, discussed the co-construction of post-pandemic workspaces, and the Pyxian Social Responsibility Commission (PSR) addressed the issue of corporate social responsibility of the future.
On the one hand, the Environment Commission addressed issues such as the goal of being a sustainable company and the feasibility of high-impact e-commerce, while the Development Guidance Commission discussed the connection between professional development and training with salary growth.
Finally, the Gender and Diversity Committee addressed topics ranging from machismo in our ecosystem to Wandagate and its media treatment without a gender perspective.
The topics discussed sought to challenge us, to trigger discussions, and to generate suggestions and opportunities for improvement in order to analyze and monitor the tools and processes of Human Development, Internal Communication and Backoffice. With the inseparable objective that each member of Pyxis can develop professionally, but also personally,
Being able to grow by promoting the essential values of our culture such as collaboration and companionship.
