CyberSecurity Summer BootCamp 2025: Our Team Led Advanced Cyberattack Simulation Training
Edgar David Salazar and Josmell Chavarri were selected for the third time as instructors for the CyberSecurity Summer BootCamp 2025.
This intensive international cybersecurity training program was organized by INCIBE – the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain – with support from the Organization of American States (OAS). Held annually in León, Spain, the BootCamp brought together over 400 professionals from more than 30 countries, including law enforcement, CSIRT teams, prosecutors, judges, and policymakers.
A Premier Cybersecurity Training in the Region
Recognized as one of the most demanding and prestigious cybersecurity events in the world, Edgar and Josmell led the module on Cyberattack Simulation and Coordinated Response. This hands-on training challenged participants’ offensive and defensive skills through realistic crisis scenarios.
Realistic Simulations, Effective Responses
During the training, we conducted a simulation replicating a real cyberattack to test threat detection capabilities and guide participants through the phases of the Cyber Kill Chain. The participants successfully identified, contained, and responded to advanced persistent threats (APTs) in a coordinated and collaborative manner across different teams.
At Pyxis, we continue to support organizations by delivering tailored training, strategic advisory, and operational assistance that empower teams to effectively detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats.
