In the context of the pandemic, and with the premise of sharing knowledge with a focus on those people who are unemployed and have an interest in the IT sector, the “Chatting with” initiative arises. “The space will consist of talks or mini workshops on topics that help these people. From improving their CV to acquiring new concepts to convert to the technology sector ”, Analía Semblat, cycle coordinator and member of the Pyxiana Social Responsibility (RSP) team, tells us.
The proposal is also open to all who are interested in adding knowledge on the topic of the talk, says Analía.
From RSP, a relaxed concept was sought for the initiative, a space that generates closeness between the participants in the cafe style, with the confidence of being able to ask, get rid of doubts and take away many advice and academic options to deepen the topic of the talk.
Who and who
“From Pyxis we want to support those people who are unemployed or on unemployment insurance with a solidarity instrument of virtual talks. Several Pyxians have a lot of knowledge and experiences to share and from RSP we want to generate this instrument to facilitate and make them happen ”, adds Analía.
For the cycle to roll, an internal call was made within the Pyxis team to apply for voluntary talks. A lot of Pyxians quickly applied, eager to share experiences that could enrich others. From developers and security experts to specialists in Human Development and Communication.
The cycle will begin next Tuesday, July 14 with Gabriela Alcarraz in the talk «Learning to learn», a space where she will explain how our brain works and from that she will teach tips and good practices to learn better and enhance our daily learning.
