ATP Americas is an alliance between Pyxis Infra and AT, with the objective of creating a technological pole capable of executing high-level infrastructure projects in Latin America. Its focus: VMware Cloud solutions.
The alliance became the first VMware partner worldwide to achieve Network Security Competency certification.

ATP is already working with medium and large companies in Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina and Chile. It is also carrying out projects in Brazil, which makes ATP the first foreign company to provide solutions of this type in the country.

The main verticals are telecommunications, cloud providers, financial and education. Some success stories: migrations of Networking technology platforms, implementation of Cloud platforms, design and deployment of Tanzu, VMware product for working with Kubernetes, first deployment of Tanzu in LATAM.

Vazquez adds that, from a technical point of view, it allows Pyxis to measure «with the best channels in Latin America and with one of the most demanding clients we could think of: VMware itself. At the same time, from an organizational point of view, new processes and ways of doing things were generated».

Talent Development Plan
One of the central axes of ATP Americas is team building: retraining people with technical profiles in VMWare technologies. The objective of the talent development plan is to provide technical knowledge and work culture.

The technical axis includes official VMware courses, official certification exams, access to self-learning tools and laboratories. Regarding the work culture, the idea is to work on cultural aspects of AT and Pyxis, focusing on work in diverse teams, collaboration and synergy.
