On Tuesday, October 7, the Idatha team, together with the University of Montevideo and SAP Next-Gen, started the Data Science Workshop.

This workshop, which is aimed at more than 40 students with a multidisciplinary profile (Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Economics and Marketing) and from public and private universities (UM, UDE, Udelar and ORT), will be held throughout October and November.

It consists of initial workshops for the transfer of theoretical concepts and the assignment of a project to the groups that are formed. At the end of this period, the most outstanding teams will present their work at an event to be held in Montevideo on November 21, an instance that will accompany the celebration of our first 10 years.

SAP Next-Gen is a community within SAP, whose mission is to provide visibility to new and small companies and enterprises, organize events and promote new initiatives, as well as establish partnerships with universities and help all those companies that contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

This mission goes hand in hand with our commitment to innovation, transformation and the constant link with the community. Also, with Idatha’s goal of betting on the formation of new talents in Data Science.
