We were tasked with creating a specific app for customers (mom & pop stores) featuring image recognition to review coolers. The app needed to identify which products were present, whether they were sodas or not, and if they were in the correct place. Additionally, it had to send a suggested order to replenish products and an alert to the sales representative.
Our primary objective was to develop a bi-directional platform facilitating interaction between the bottler (Coca-Cola FEMSA) and its customers (mom & pop stores). This encompassed a web platform, integration with SAP ECC, development of an Android & iOS app, and the implementation of a TensorFlow training algorithm for image recognition.
The project’s success helped the client see a 4.3% sales increase in the traditional market.
