At Pyxis we are looking for a Java Architect to join our architecture team and collaborate with the development teams of a renowned client in the banking sector.

Responsabilities:

  • Design and evolve Java application architecture ensuring scalability, security and performance.
  • Define and promote design patterns and best practices within the development teams.
  • Participate in the design of technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical leaders and stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in implementations.
  • Evaluate and select technologies (frameworks, tools, libraries) for strategic projects.
  • Oversee and guide the adoption of microservices, messaging and event-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka).
  • Ensure proper integration between systems: APIs, RDBMS, NoSQL, PaaS and virtualized environments.
  • Document architecture and provide technical mentoring to development teams.

 

Requirements:

  • +7 years of Java development experience.
  • +1 year in Software Architecture roles.
  • Solid knowledge in Spring Framework, Kafka, JEE, RDBMS and NoSQL.
  • Experience with architecture design, software patterns, networking and PaaS/VM platforms.
  • Training in Systems Engineering or related careers.
