Data Engineer AWS

Pyxis Data Engineering team is looking for an AWS Data Engineer. We are looking for people who are passionate about learning and working with state-of-the-art data processing and analytics technologies and platforms.

We are looking for talents who:

  • Understand the needs of each project, keeping in mind the value added to each client’s business.
  • Have the ability to self-manage, prioritizing and balancing the execution of more than one project at a time.
  • Communicate naturally in a pleasant and effective way with clients and the work team.

 

Responsabilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures that provide the greatest possible benefit to our customers.
  • Develop data ingestion and processing pipelines.
  • Build data analysis and visualization solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • +3 years of experience in Data Engineer roles working on projects with technologies such as: Python, AWS SDK (boto3), PySpark, SQL, Amazon Redshift, AWS Databricks, AWS Glue, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon QuickSight, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS DMS, Amazon Athena, Amazon S3.
  • Graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems.
  • English level B2.

 

Nice to have:

-AWS or Databricks Certifications:

  • AWS Solution Architect Associate (SAA-C03) or AWS Data Engineer Associate (DEA-C01).
  • Databricks Data Analyst Associate, Databricks Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Data Engineer Professional.
